Remember when Southern California had real 'local' programming?
I do! Radio stations weren't 'robot' stations. They had real Disk Jockeys playing real 45's not some playlists bought from some conglomerate set up on automatic tapes or CD's in a machine. And TV stations had real 'local' hosts on all kinds of programs. And those hosts made special personal appearances to promote 'local events'.
This site is dedicated to those wonderful old days and those great stations that had personality and 'real' local programming.
I'll be sharing memories of Southern California 'local' shows, radio and TV, with you right here. Please be patient research on these stations and programs take some time. Be sure to check the links above for SoCal radio and TV History.
